Hello fellow travelers!
During our first international trip as a married couple to Croatia in 2019, we decided to start a travel blog called Barefoot Travels and Wine. Here we are in 2023 and we finally got our act together to execute the plan. Better late than never! Learn more about us in the section below.
One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.
Who is Barefoot Travels and Wine?
Barefoot Travels and Wine is Kay and Steve. Spoiler alert, we love traveling, being barefoot on beaches, and we enjoy drinking wine. It seemed like a natural fit, as there are few things better than vacationing without shoes and with a glass of wine in hand.
Kay is from Tennessee and Steve is from southern California. So, we bring a nice mix of southern and west coast flavor to the table. Following the pandemic and some upcoming significant birthdays, we made the commitment to travel as much as possible, both domestically in the US and internationally, as often as possible. Most evenings are now spent trying to figure out how we can squeeze one more international trip into our work schedules.
